Making Progress

Booth is doing well, he is socializing with other dogs, and playing more often and appropriately. We have been going to the park and walking with many other dogs including Luna(the white dog above).

Susan also told me via e-mail that her walk with Booth has improved greatly and she is thrilled with the progress he has made.

Booth

This is Booth. He belongs to a wonderful woman named Susan, the proprietor of Asian Influences, an antique store in Lawrenceville.

Booth is a five year old border collie mix, a rescue dog from Animal Friends who has had a very rough start to his life. He has come a long way after being socialized for the last ten months.

Border collies are very smart by nature and Booth is no exception, picking up basic commands with ease. However, when dealing with boarder collies, you may have issues with two unwanted behaviors, herding and territorial behavior.

These are the issues I will be working with him and Susan to overcome. Please follow our journey to help Booth become a happier, more balanced dog.
